Stump grinding is the most efficient and least intrusive way to remove unsightly, obstructive, and decaying stumps from around your home or property.
Tree stumps decrease curb appeal for your home and limit accessibility of you and your equipment to different areas of your property. Most importantly, decaying wood can become a home for invasive pests such as termites, carpenter ants, mice and more.
Grinding down unwanted stumps increases the usage of your outdoor spaces without the need for excavation equipment and major disruption to your existing landscaping.
The cost to remove stumps varies from job to job and is based on several factors such as their size, accessibility (flat yard, side of a hill, etc), and hazards in the area (utilities).
A general rule of thumb is the more stumps there are to be removed, the lower the cost per stump.
A stump's size is based on its diameter at the widest point which includes the root flare and not just the cut surface. The height of the stump above final grade is also taken into consideration when determining a stump's overall size.
Yes, we are fully insured and can provide copies of insurance information upon request.
We specialize in the removal or stumps, surface roots, shrubs, and any unwanted vegetation. Stumps of any size can be ground down as much as 15 inches below grade, ensuring that any residual wood does not resurface in the future. In addition, root chasing eliminates bulging roots near the surface from large trees such as pines and oaks. Once the grinding is complete, the wood chips can be piled neatly in the vacant stump location.
Our primary service area is the South Shore of Massachusetts and its surrounding communities.
We currently accept cash and check as payment for our services.
